Particularly for my non-US flisties (though its not exclusively non-US), a fun sight to cast your 'vote' for US president: If the World Could Vote.

I find it interesting just to see the countries where there's one person who has found the site and voted.

I spent the late afternoon/early evening doing phone calling for the local Obama office. I spent my day being trained to do help engaged couples do an inventory of their relationship in preparation for marriage. A fairly good way to memorialize the day - supporting love, not fear.

Our No New Taxes Governor and the two major party leaders have yet to sort out their differences and figure out a budget.
